Getting into the Grove School of Engineering

A student is considered for regular admission to the GSOE if he/she has completed a minimum of 15 units (year-long) of high school courses with an overall average of 85% or better, including:
- Four years of high school mathematics, including precalculus, with a grade average of 80% or better;
- Three years of science, including
- One year of physics, with a grade of 80% or better, and
- One year of chemistry, with a grade of 80% or better;
(the physics and chemistry requirements may each be substituted by a year-long college-level non–calculus-based course) and
- Two years of English.
Applicants to GSOE are required to submit SAT scores as part of their application.
