Below is a listing of the type/name of services available or supported by the Office of Information Technology (OIT). These services are offered through the different Units within the OIT structure.
CUNYfirst The hallmark of learning CUNYfirst applications is training in a classroom setting with peers from around the university where an individual can take specific classes at a location most convenient to either their workplace or home.
CUNY Portal: Allows access to Blackboard 8, eSIMS Direct (course registration) and other secure CUNY Portal based applications.
Podcasting: There are two Go-To points at CCNY. Faculty and students can find information on Podcasting at The iTunes U Hub and can also log on to Blackboard which has a feature that facilitates Podcasts.
Printing/Duplicating: Service is available for official CCNY documents that need to be in print for wide distribution. There are also printing facilities in OIT main lab. >>Printing
Self-Help: Links to videos and podcasts are available to guide students/faculty/staff through network and computing functions on the OIT website.
Smart Classrooms: Classroom and lecture hall locations with built-in audio and visual projection equipment for use with laptops, DVD players, document cameras and other audio/video devices. Further information is available through iMEDIA.
