Message from the Director & Coordinator

This website is designed to introduce you, the undergraduate student, to the Office of Academic Standards, and to provide basic policy/procedural information regarding degree requirements, as determined by The City College, The City University of New York and New York State. Our aim is to assist you to avoid academic situations that can potentially jeopardize your college performance.

To insure your graduation you will need to exercise a high level of personal responsibility throughout your college experience.  Taking the initiative to connect with instructors and advisors will greatly increase your chance of academic success at the City College.

Advisors are available for every division of the College of Liberal Arts and Science and every professional school at City College. Other important available resources are college publications, informed college faculty and staff, and the Office of Academic Standards.

Do not suffer in silence! Take the time to review the information on this site. It is extremely important for you to play an active role in your academic success.

Sincerely,

Maria Vazquez
