Scholarships & Awards

Students at the Center are eligible for a variety of awards and prizes at the College. Some are specifically designated for students at the Center such as those listed below. There are other awards that are announced through the monthly newsletter such as the Kennedy Fellowships, City College Fellows, and English Department Writing Awards. A binder of information about scholarships and awards is available at the 7th floor reception desk. Please check it periodically for updates and deadlines. Keep in mind that you need to allow plenty of time for professors and advisors to write letters of recommendation and that it is always their prerogative to decline writing such a letter.
