ABOUT KATHERINE TAYLOR

Katherine Taylor is a Boston-based photographer specializing in photojournalism, portraiture, and events. A graduate of Boston University’s Center for Digital Imaging Arts, Taylor has worked as a freelance photojournalist for The New York Times and The Boston Phoenix. She travels frequently to the Dominican Republic and has developed a strong interest in the people, culture, and dramatic landscape of the country’s ecosystems. In 2010, she collaborated with a sponsored research project in the western part of the island undertaken by The Grove School of Engineering at The City College of New York, examining the environmental impact of the expansion of Lake Enriquillo.
